For this Digital Fabrication project, I decided to try a more difficult mesh in Grasshopper - the Voronoi mesh. I took a standard table lamp base and used rhino to make a base case that would serve to encase the lamp but have the ability to have a ring piece (upon which the voronoi mesh lampshade was glued) that could screw on and off to change the lightbulb. this required the drafting, design, and 3D printing of four pieces: the bottom case for the lamp, a shaft case for the bulb shaft, the ring that screws into the base case, and the voronoi lampshade.
